Welcome!

I began teaching in Greene County in 1998 after graduating from Carson Newman College. I taught at Doak Elementary from 1998-2005. I taught at Glenwood Elementary from 2004-2019. I started teaching at Chuckey-Doak Middle in 2005 and now am placed at CDMS full time. I earned my Masters Degree in 2012 from Tusculum College. I love teaching art and believe this is the best job in the world. Who else gets to go to work to draw and color with young people every day? I married the most wonderful man, Anthony Foister, in 1996. He has a heart for sharing Christ and is involved in domestic and international missions. My son, Daniel, is my delight. He makes me proud every day. I am a conservative Christian and hope to be a positive influence on the lives of my students.
