Welcome!

Welcome to 6th Grade Science at Chuckey-Doak Middle School! My name is Emily Casteel, and I am excited to be part of the Black Knight family. This is my second year as an educator and my first year teaching at the middle school level. I am passionate about helping students explore the world of science through hands-on learning, curiosity, and real-world connections. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy farming, knitting, and spending quality time with my family and friends. I look forward to a fantastic year of discovery, growth, and learning together!
