BETA Requirements

 

1. Must be a current 6th or 7th grader. 6th graders will not be asked to join until the end of their 6th grade year. 

 

2. Good Grades-Students must have all A's and B's of 87 or higher on their first semester grades to be considered for the club.

 

3. Good attendance- Students cannot have more than 5 unexcused absences and no more than 10 absences total by the first semester grades to be considered for the club. 

 

4. Good behavior- ALL teachers are asked to comment on student behavior and how they treat their fellow classmates, including in related arts. If 2 or more teachers say the student has consistent poor behavior, they will not be asked to join the club.

 

5. If students meet the above requirements and choose to join Beta, they will be required to serve volunteer hours, help fundraiser, do leadership activities, and keep up their good grades, attendance, and behavior to stay in the club.
